About Project Vijay
Department of CSBS, in association with CAMP CORP CLUB GGITS, is launching an exciting internal hackathon for students passionate about databases and AI.
Built under the Oracle Academy umbrella, this hackathon â Project Vijay â encourages you to solve a realâworld problem using Applied Database Systems with Oracle AI Database.
Who Should Participate?
This hackathon is open to all students from:
- Computer Science and all Allied Branches
Whether youâre a beginner exploring databases or an advanced coder comfortable with AI, this is your chance to build something impactful.
Your Hackathon Mission
Each participant will build an individual project that:
- Solves a clear realâworld problem (e.g., campus systems, local business, public data, health, finance, or education).
- Uses Oracle AI Database and the capabilities of Applied Database Systems.
- Shows that youâve completed the Oracle AI Database course with certificate (submission by 10th April 2026).
Skills Youâll Showcase
Flex your expertise in (but not limited to):
Combine some or all of these into a project that tells a strong story with clean code, a solid database design, and practical impact.
Winning Criteria
From all participants, the **top 6** students will be selected based on:
- Project Quality and how well the problem statement is aligned with realâworld needs.
- Tech Depth: how many features and capabilities youâve integrated effectively (see skills list).
- Presentation: clarity, demonstration, and storytelling in your explanation.
- Certificate Proof: timely completion of the Applied Database Systems with Oracle AI Database course (by 10th April 2026).
